This skirt was one of my purchases while in LA, and it was money well spent!  I love it!  Now, if only we could have as good of shopping in Nebraska....That will be the day!

It's Been a While...

I'm back! I've taken a short 2 month hiatus, but I am now slowly getting back into the groove of things.  I'm home from LA and back in good ole Nebraska.  Ahh I miss LA so much!  Definitely the best 2 months of my life! I couldn't have asked for a better internship or a better company to work for.  I hope I will be able to continue my career with BCBG.  

Anyways, after arriving home from LA, I had the opportunity to fly to New York City and work at Fashion Week for BCBG (pictures above).  I assisted with their BCBGMAXAZRIA Runway show along with the Herve Leger by Max Azria show.  Wow, talk about a great experience!  It has always been a dream of mine to go to NY Fashion Week, and it was even better than I imagined!  Harnesses seemed to be the trend at both the BCBG and Herve shows, so I figured I needed one for myself and I am so glad I bought one!  Although, my mom was a little concerned when she first saw it...While I was in NYC, I also got to go out for Fashion's Night Out and I was able to snap a pic with Lubov Azria (Max Azria's wife).  She is such an inspirational woman!

Sorry, its been so long! My friend from home is in town this weekend and I am so happy!  We have been exploring and I got to go to Universal Studios and it was so much fun! Today we are off to the beach :)  She's not much a shopper (crazy, I know!), so I am trying to find other things for us to do.  I don't know anything in LA except for the shopping haha.

I really debated buying this dress, but I am so glad I did.  I AM IN LOVE!  It's so simple and beautiful, and I love the way it flows when I walk :)  No buyers remorse here! And I scored these color-block shoes at Zara for super cheap. Thank god for their summer sale! I don't think I have a whole lot in my closet to wear with them, but I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Anyways, it is a short week this week.  My internship office is closed Wed-Fri, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little depressed about it.  I wish I could be there everyday, but I might as well enjoy it.  I think I'll go to the beach, do a little shopping and maybe attend a BBQ.  I also am dying to see the new Katy Perry movie.  I love her!  I saw Magic Mike this past weekend and let me tell you, it did not disappoint ladies! If you haven't seen it, GO SEE IT!  I don't usually get obsessed with celebrities, but I am now obsessed with Channing Tatum (obsessed is an understatement).  He is beautiful! I've already watched every YouTube video possible of him.  Cant. Get. Enough.

Well, I'm starting to ramble, so I hope everyone has a great fourth of July!
